Taking back its independence:
Being one of the oldest, continuously operating veterinary facility in the UK often means you’re bound to see a change in management every once in a while. Yet, after many years under corporate ownership, Elizabeth Street Veterinary Clinic is coming back to its roots by becoming independent again.
This marks another milestone in our mission to provide gold standard healthcare for your pets and reinforces our commitment to the well-being of animals and standards of veterinary care in the UK.
By returning to independent ownership, our surgery is committed to improving access to pet care tailored to your specific needs as well as providing a caring professional service for the whole community.
Our team of caring and experienced vets and nurses are ready to provide you with expert care whilst offering the same 24 Hour emergency care it pioneered forty years ago.
Extending our 24 Hour Vetcare service network:
After being acquired by Keith Butt, Andrew Carmichael, Bruce Fogle and Michael Gordon in 1980, Elizabeth Street Vets became the first clinic in Europe to offer a 24 Hour emergency service for the pets in our care.
Today, alongside our sister surgeries Streatham Hill Veterinary Surgery and Mead Veterinary Centre in Dartford, Elizabeth Street Vets forms a 24 Hour Vetcare network which offers continuity of care coupled with a high level of veterinary expertise.
